Abstract Presentation Formats

Traditional Oral Sessions (TO):
Short oral presentations with 8 minutes of presentation time + 2 minutes of Q&A.

Flash Talk Sessions (FT):
Rapid-fire presentations with 4 minutes of presentation time + 1 minute of Q&A.

Poster Discussion Sessions (PD):
Poster discussion sessions take place during the coffee breaks at the e-poster terminals. Selected posters are grouped by subtopic, and each author gives a short presentation (2 minutes), followed by a moderated group discussion (10 minutes). Posters in this category will be displayed exclusively as e-posters; no printed poster is required.

Poster Viewing Sessions (PV):
Poster viewing sessions take place during the coffee breaks, at the poster boards. These sessions do not include formal presentations or moderated discussions. Instead, presenters are asked to stand by their poster and engage in discussions with interested participants. Presenters are required to prepare both a printed poster and an e-poster.

Late Poster Sessions (LP):
If the SOC decides to offer late submissions for ISEE 2026, accepted abstracts will be presented exclusively as e-posters and made available at all times via the e-poster terminals and the conference app. There will be no scheduled presentation during the conference. However, participants can use the contact function in the app to get in touch with authors and ask questions about their e-poster.
